Housed in a durable, lightweight aluminium metalized pouch (28cm × 18cm × 8cm), the TacPack Basic is built to withstand the rigours of operational environments. The reflective, weather-resistant casing protects its contents from moisture and impact whether it’s mounted to a vest, stowed in a pack, or riding in a vehicle.
The contents are selected with tactical and field scenarios firmly in mind. Haemorrhage control — the leading cause of preventable death in trauma — is addressed front and centre with a ParaGear Tactical Rotation Tourniquet and an Emergency Trauma Haemorrhage Control Bandage, giving you the two most critical tools for managing catastrophic bleeding. Airway management is covered by a nasopharyngeal airway (NPA) with Optilube lubricating jelly for safe insertion, and a CPR mouthpiece for rescue breathing. The surgical skin marking pen and wooden tongue depressor support patient assessment, while the rescue scissors allow rapid clothing removal to expose injuries quickly.
Wound and trauma care is rounded out with sterile gauze swabs, trauma pads, a crepe bandage, triangular bandage, burn blott sachet, sterile eye pad, safety pins, and transparent tape. Black nitrile gloves and a rescue space blanket complete the kit, covering hygiene and shock management in a single pack.
