The ParaGear TacPack Advanced takes everything in the TacPack Basic and pushes it further — into the territory of serious trauma management that demands a higher level of preparedness and skill. Designed for paramedics, military personnel, and tactical teams operating in high-threat environments, this is a kit built around the expectation that injuries will be severe and response time will be critical.
Housed in the same durable, lightweight aluminium metalized pouch (28cm × 18cm × 8cm) as its counterpart, the Advanced pack is compact enough for vest or pack carry while holding a capability set that punches well above its size.
The haemorrhage control foundation remains the same — a ParaGear Tactical Rotation Tourniquet and Emergency Trauma Haemorrhage Control Bandage for managing catastrophic extremity bleeding. But the Advanced kit adds two significant upgrades for penetrating thoracic and wound trauma. The Chitosan Haemostatic Z-Fold Gauze (7.5×180cm) brings combat-proven haemostatic technology to deep wound packing, dramatically accelerating clotting in high-volume bleeds where standard gauze falls short. The non-vented Chest Wound Seal addresses open pneumothorax — a sucking chest wound — by sealing the injury and preventing the tension pneumothorax that can rapidly become fatal in penetrating chest trauma.
Airway management, patient assessment, wound care, burn treatment, and shock management are all covered by the remaining contents, mirroring the comprehensive foundation of the Basic kit. Together, the full contents represent a coherent, protocol-aligned approach to Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) principles in a single portable package.
